FULL COVER MARINE CARGO INSURANCE

There is no law making Cargo Insurance compulsory BUT it must be remembered that goods are at risk whilst being transported even Nationally and, more important, Internationally. Marine Insurance is covered by the Marine Insurance Act 1906.

We are able to offer Cargo Insurance, commonly called Marine Cargo Insurance, which can normally cover the total cost of your goods ( less excess ) whilst in transit around the world .

Although called "Marine" it covers Air Freight, Road Freight, Inland Waterways as well as Short Sea and Deep Sea methods of transportation.

Rates differ for each mode of transport and also differ from Country to Country depending on the total risk involved. Obviously the value of the cargo has an affect on the premium too.
